Matt is a successful entrepreneur who built and led one of the nation's leading technology-enabled claims resolution and medical monitoring companies, the Garretson Resolution Group. Since selling the business, Matt has dedicated himself to educating non-profit leaders. BurnBright emerged from his passion for innovating in how we teach great performance. An avid learner, Matt is a graduate of Yale University, Kentucky’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law and Chicago Theological Seminary. Matt is a devoted husband and father, and an avid adventure cyclist and skier.
Andrew joins Matt in starting BurnBright after serving for eight years as a professor at the U.S. Army War College, where he was honored to work with and teach senior military officers. His final position was as the Chair of Strategic Leadership. Andrew brings passion and expertise in teaching and researching strategy, innovation, and leadership. He has a doctorate from Harvard Business School, a master's degree from U.C. Berkeley, and a "world's greatest dad" paper tie from his kids.
Elizabeth joins BurnBright excited to bridge her knowledge of psychology and education to explore great performance and produce engaging, data-driven, training and education content. A native of Dayton, Ohio, Elizabeth received her bachelor's in Psychology from Yale University in 2017. At Yale, she played on the varsity women’s basketball team and was the team captain in her final season. She also served on the board of the Special Olympics. After graduation, she taught middle school and pursued a master's degree in education.
